MY WORK

My team and I noticed CU Boulder female students needed a better way to carry their house key. Through interviews and research, we were able to develop a concept, develop a strategy, conduct a business analysis, produce a prototype, test our idea on our target market, and present our idea.

Our team came in first place.

I took a Product Management course from General Assembly and received a certificate in

June 2020.

Throughout the course I worked on creating an application for Mac as my final project.

"Hey Shelley. Take a look at this. Do you think you can recreate it?"

I was shown an expired giveaway Instagram post of a piece of artwork made out of wood to portray mountains. There were a couple of changes that they requested I make. They asked it to be as small and light as possible.

An internal client wanted to represent the process that right-of-way scenarios would go through. She wanted to represent the process in an easy-to-explain way. I created this decision map to clearly demonstrate the process in a clear and precise manner.

Decision Map

Where do I put my plants? On the windowsill? No, not enough room. On the shelf across the room? No, not enough sunshine.

I needed a solution for my plants. I couldn't find any solution for this through extensive online research, so I decided to make my own. I personally designed and created it.

Within two months of each other, Kimley-Horn opened two new offices. I created one comprehensive postcard-sized material that was printed, sent out in an email, and posted on social media. The postcard also highlighted
Kimley-Horn's services and other Colorado offices.
